This is an inspection position in the Minnesota Department of Agriculture's Retail Food Program. They perform inspections, investigations, and compliance and enforcement activities in retail food establishments to ensure general enforcement of state food safety laws and regulations. They also provide guidance and technical assistance for industry clientele related to retail food safety issues or compliance with state retail food safety laws and regulations. This is a remote worker position located out of an employee’s home office and performing work in a geographically defined territory. This position is located in Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing, Hubbard, Morrison, Otter Tail, Todd, and Wadena counties.
